Customer Requirement:
House Restaurant and Coffee shop asked AGX Signs to produce a quick turnaround on a fascia sign for their new Liverpool location. This was a new concept for our client and they wanted us to control the design and feel of the signage.
AGX Signs Proposal:
We spent time looking at the proposals by the customer for the interior of the restaurant and bar and it was decided a matt black sign with internal illumination would work best. The studio tweaked the original branding for the customer and superimposed the sign and price was approved.
As well as the illuminated sign a small projecting sign was necessary for the location so it was visible to the shoppers on both sides of the road. The main fascia sign was manufactured from matt black dibond and it was produced as a very deep tray with large returns. The illumination on the logo was done via push through laser cut Perspex letters to add to the feeling of depth to the sign. It was illuminated using standard fluorescent tubes fitted on a back tray.
The projecting sign was a double sided illuminated light box with matt black vinyl detailing continuing the minimal feel to the signage scheme.
Finished Project:
The signage was manufactured and installed within five days and fitted out of hours. The signage completely changed the external feel to the restaurant in the day and when illuminated helps the location stand out as a bar in a busy location at night. This scheme is being rolled out to new venue as it compliments the high quality feel inside.
Materials Used:
Matt black dibond tray, opal push through Perspex letters (laser cut), double sided illuminated projecting sign with internal illumination.
Customer Testimonial:
We leaned on AGX Signs’s knowledge with this scheme and it looks superb, this concept will be rolled out during 2013 to new venues.
